Engage with Anxiety

If you’re noticing a sense of anxiousness and/or are finding yourself swirling in sensations, rumination, and/or other uncomfortable human body signals of dis-ease and dis-stress, the below recording is a short somatic practice to help root you into your body by addressing the feels. Engaging with this practice can help meet the bodies signals to run, fight, or collapse, acknowledging the alarm bells and therefore allowing them to quiet down (alarm bells = sensations, rumination, etc.).

If you notice a slight shift but not enough to take the edge off, try the practice a few times - 3x tends to be the magic number, but trust how many times you feel called.
